About IEPA15

W
e are delighted to welcome you to Berlin from 8th to 10th September 2025 for IEPA15, the 15th International Conference on Early Intervention and Prevention in Mental Health. This is the first time that an IEPA conference will be held in Germany and we are particularly delighted that Berlin is the host city. As the capital of Germany, Berlin has an exceptional range of landmarks, vibrant cultural scene and striking contrasts that makes it one of the top destinations in the world.

The theme for our conference in 2025 is “Breaking Boundaries”. A theme at the heart of Berlin itself, we chose this topic to emphasize the broadening scope of early intervention in regard to diagnostic categories and approaches as well as the importance of interdisciplinarity. Bringing these themes together hopefully will create further momentum for the early intervention paradigm in mental health.

Drawing on regional as well as international scientists, clinicians, and mental health professionals, we are putting together an exciting line-up of speakers. IEPA15 will also see a strong presence and involvement of individuals with lived experience sharing their perspectives and joining the conversations in the conference.

We look forward to welcoming you to Berlin in 2025 for IEPA15. We hope that the conference will give you an opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in the early intervention field, be it scientific research or clinical innovation, learn and share best practices in the field, and network with partners old and new.
